BAOBABS “BOZY BE”

Our sites are home to two species of Baobabs which are: Andasonia Madagascarensis and Andasonia Suarezensis. The eastern part of the site is also home to giant Baobab trees measuring between 11 to 13 meters in diameter which are Endemic to Madagascar or endemic to northern Madagascar. Baobab admirers and connoisseurs will not be disappointed the local population has several legends concerning the Baobab and the Baobab are part of the sacred trees of the communities. The villagers call them in the Anjoaty dialect, BOZIBE.

On arrival, you will be installed in your tent canvas which is already prepared by the villagers engaged as the camping manager. Then, after the short toilet break, lunch of Malagasy dishes from the catering with menus prepared by village women hired as cooks on the site will be served in the catering shed.

The afternoon is reserved for Bird Watch in the afternoon around the village near the camp. Your evening will be a convivial evening at the Long table of the campsite (Games of Chess, Backgammon, dominoes and card or/and Cultural evening accompanied by a session of the tales and legend of Bobaomby) and animated by the traditional animator by singing ( Vako-drazana , Antsa, Goma …) and Trotrobe dance.

The next morning, after breakfast, tour guides will take you to an excursion in the circuit in the circuit of Baobab on the sacred beach of Ratabirano which is a sumptuous beach with a possibility of swimming. A picnic snack on the beach while watching Sea Turtles playing not far from the shores and admiring the Baobab trees populating along the Coastal Ecosystem very close to the beach.

You will return in the afternoon to Diego-Suarez after lunch in the camp.
